Executive Committee

The day-to-day functions of PASCAL are overseen by an Executive Committee (ExCom), which brings together the host institutions who are linked by Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) or similar agreements to work jointly together. The Executive Committee may set up other sub-committees, networks and Special Interest Groups. There are currently five Learning City Networks (LCNs) co-ordinated by a Learning Cities Co-ordinator (LCC) and three Special Interest Groups (SIGs) each with a convenor(s).

International Advisory Board

Alongside the Executive Committee is the International Advisory Board, whose purpose is to review the activities of the PASCAL programme and to provide strategic advice on the policies and direction of the Observatory. The IAB will include a Senior Representative (SR) from within their institution, but unconnected with the day to day running of the PASCAL centre.

Chair of PASCAL (CoP)

The PASCAL Observatory is represented externally by an independent Chair of PASCAL (CoP), determined by the ExCom and IAB. The CoP may be the Chair of the ExCom or the Chair of the IAB or someone else and will be determined by the SRs and RHCLs.
