The final webinar of the Erasmus+ SPACE project, titled Supporting Community Engagement in Higher Education: Perspectives from European University Alliances, will take place on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 14:00–16:00 CET.

The webinar will explore how community engagement can be strengthened in European higher education, with a particular focus on the role of European University alliances. The discussion will bring together perspectives from several alliances and ask how community engagement is understood, supported and put into practice across different institutional and transnational contexts. The webinar will also present three new SPACE resources designed to support academics, professional staff, institutional leaders and partners working to strengthen community engagement in higher education. These resources focus on curriculum design, university-community partnerships and institutional change.

A draft agenda is enclosed.

Everyone interested is invited to join this discussion and to contribute with their own reflections on the future of community engagement in European higher education. The agenda for the Seminar can be accessed here
